Data Deletion
Last updated: 7 September 2026
This page explains how to delete your data from EduDex, including any data we received from Facebook & Instagram Lead Ads. We honour deletion requests in line with the GDPR and Meta’s Platform requirements.
1. Delete data yourself in EduDex
- Disconnect a connected Page. In EduDex go to Integrations → Meta Lead Ads and choose Disconnect. This revokes our access and stops any further data flow from that Page.
- Delete individual records. Leads, applicants, and related records can be deleted from within the app by users with the appropriate permission.
- Full account deletion. To delete your entire Agency account and all its data, send us a request (see below); we remove it from the live Service, subject to short technical backup periods.
2. Request deletion by email
You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@edudex.app from the address associated with your account, with the subject line “Data deletion request”. Tell us what you would like deleted (your whole account, a specific Agency, or specific records). We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will complete verified requests within 30 days and confirm when done.
3. Facebook & Instagram Lead Ads data
If you connected a Facebook Page to EduDex, disconnecting the Pagerevokes our access, stops any further data flow, and deletes the stored Page access token. Leads that were already imported become part of your Agency’s own records: they are not deleted automatically when you disconnect. You can delete those leads individually at any time, they are removed when you delete your account, and we will delete them on a verified deletion request as described above.
EduDex also supports Facebook’s automated data-deletion mechanism: if you remove the EduDex app from your Facebook settings, Facebook sends us a signed deletion request and we delete the associated data received from Facebook. If you would like written confirmation, contact support@edudex.app.
4. If EduDex is your processor
Where the data concerns leads or applicants belonging to an Agency, that Agency is the data controller. If you are one of their leads, please contact the Agency directly; if you are the Agency, use the steps above. We assist Agencies in fulfilling their deletion obligations.
